Proancia
Proancia will be a company founded on patent pending intellectual property and know-how in the field of cryptographic and smartcard design. The IP has been developed within the Microelectronics Systems Design Group at Newcastle University.
This ‘cryptographic processor IP’ will provide leading edge security to combat the growing threat of side channel attacks on smartcard security. Furthermore, Proancia’s products will be fully compatible with existing industry standard components and design flows and fully synthesisable.
The company will generate revenues from licensing processor IP, provision of associated development and integration services and consultancy to the smartcard industry.
