Sharp End Productions
Graham Waite, Alan Sill and Geoff Docherty have created and developed a film production company, Sharp End Productions Limited. The company’s first unique venture is to acquire world film rights of the book ‘A Promoter’s Tale’ by Geoff Docherty. The book will be adapted into a British hit film ‘The Promoter’s Tale’. This production will be followed by 2 further films based.
‘The Promoter’s Tale’ is a film about rock promoter Geoff Docherty’s experiences of life’s triumphs and upsets as he strived to promote artists such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Who, T Rex, Procol Harem, David Bowie, Jethro Tull, Black Sabbath, Eric Clapton in the North East of England in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. The film’s soundtrack will be dedicated to the music by artists of that era.
